LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the second time in her career, App State outfielder Kayt Houston has earned NFCA All-Region honors, marking the Mountaineers' second two-time NFCA All-Region honoree in program history.
Houston, an All-Sun Belt first-team selection, was named to the All-NFCA third team in the Central region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Thursday after posting a historic senior season. She joins Allie Cashion (2012, 2013) as the only players in App State history to garner all-region recognition two times.
The Rock Hill, S.C., native posted one of the best seasons in program history in 2024, finishing with a program-record .
