MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team hosted Belmont for the last match on Friday in the Blue Raider Invitational. The Blue Raiders and Bruins went back and forth, but MTSU got the final say, winning the fifth set 15-12.
The Blue Raiders (7-2, 0-0 C-USA) topped the Belmont Bruins (1-8, 0-0 MVC) in their first meeting since 2017, 3-2 (23-25, 25-14, 25-14, 24-26, 15-12). Middle Tennessee dominated offensively, hitting .390 on the night to the Bruins' .182. The Blue Raiders out blocked the Bruins 11 to three.
